Flex foils

Main advantages

• The ideal technology for individual marking and small print runs of up to 1 piece (names, nicknames and numbers e.g. for football teams)
• Foils with effects are available (gold and silver, glitter, matt colours, reflective, hologram effects)
• Full colour coverage,
• Application on a wide range of fabrics: cotton, polyester, elastane

Disadvantages

• Making very small parts can be very labour intensive, or even impossible
• The film comes in a limited number of colours

Brief information on how to do it

Flex foil is a print made with foil available in many colours and types. After preparing the graphic design, the foil is cut out with a special plotter and after removing the pattern from the cut out part of the foil, it is transferred onto the material with the use of special presses. Using high temperature and appropriate pressure, the print is fixed on the selected substrate.

We use this method of printing mainly for smaller quantities starting from one piece, and it works very well for personalised products such as football shirts.

Flex film gives us the opportunity to apply it to cotton, polyester, elastane and other material blends, which allows us to use it in many ways.
