DTG digital printing

Main advantages

  • The ideal technology for small print runs from 1 unit
  • High print resolution (1200×1200), makes small elements, tonal transitions look great
  • The printer mixes CMYK colours with each other and obtains almost all colours
  • Very fast printing, we need about 2 minutes for full printing of a 40x53 cm area
  • We print on bags, pockets and even along the seams and zips
  • We print on both light and dark T-shirts. Polo shirts and sweatshirts are also no problem for us.
  • Comfort of wearing - the advantage of a print made with this method is its permeability - the garment “breathes”. In the case of white materials it is undetectable.
  • Ecology - the inks that are used to make the prints are considered non-invasive and harmless to the environment, by choosing a material made of ecological fabric we gain a product of the highest quality.

Disadvantages

  • No Pantone colour mapping possible

Brief information on how to do it

DTG digital printing - (Direct To Garment) is one of the most modern technologies, which gives the possibility to reflect on the material almost the entire palette of colours, while very well reflecting the depth of colours. It allows to maintain extremely high resolution and quality of the print. It is an alternative method of marking to screen printing. DTG marking uses special printers, which allow the design to be applied directly to the surface of the fabric.

The final price of a DTG print consists of several factors: the size of the print run, the format of the print and also the colour of the material on which the design will be printed. In the case of coloured fabrics, a white sub-print is always placed underneath the whole design, this ensures a longer lasting print and better colour saturation.
